Saltana is a live voice and chat app for adults, 18 and older. This is the privacy notice for the Saltana app on Google Play and the App Store. Contact support@saltana.live.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: username, email, and password. A guest account is tied to a device identifier until you add an email.
- Profile details you choose to show: photo, display name, bio, gender, and country.
- Messages, posts, and room chat. We store them so the app can show them.
- Live voice. While your microphone is on, audio is carried live so people in the room can hear you. We do not save a recording of the room.
- Music files you upload, so they can be played in a room.
- Purchase records for diamonds and gold. On Android those payments are processed by Google Play. On iPhone they are processed by Apple. VIP is an in-app status paid for with diamonds. It is not a subscription billed by Google Play or Apple.
- Device and app activity needed to run the service, keep you signed in, and stop abuse.
How we use it
We use this information to run rooms and chat, show profiles, complete purchases, send service messages, and detect fraud or abuse. We do not sell personal information.
Who else receives it
- A voice service carries the live audio in a room.
- Google Play processes Android purchases of diamonds and gold. Apple processes those purchases on iPhone.
- Companies that host the app and store the files the app needs.
- Authorities, or others, when the law requires it, or when we are investigating abuse, fraud, or a threat to someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. If you delete your account, it closes immediately and can be restored by signing in within 30 days. After 30 days we erase the email, username, password, device identifier, and the profile name, bio, and photo. Messages already delivered to other people can remain in their chats.
Your choices
You can edit your profile in the app. You can delete the account from Settings, or email support@saltana.live and ask us to delete it. The steps are also on the Support page. You may ask for a copy of your data or a correction.
Children
Saltana is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. It is not a children's app, and it is not part of Google Play's Designed for Families program.
